The Electrical work safety course (Finnish: Sähkötyöturvallisuuskurssi), in accordance with Standard SFS 6002 is required for people working in the field of electricity, including those who are involved in management, planning, teaching and other expert positions (incl. students). The course includes basic instructions and safety requirements for the safe operation of electrical work.
- Introduction of tasks, instructions, work organization and the responsibilities of the personnel
- Hazards caused by electric shocks, arc and electric and magnetic fields
- Safe working practices in various electrical and power drives and fuses
- A final test
The course lasts 8 hours. Upon successful participation, an authorisation card is issued, which is valid for 5 years in Finland.
